这个周日，擦星星事务所以将与闻道读书会在南湾举办：中日关系与高市早苗的讲座。
主讲人是日本🇯🇵神户大学的王柯教授，他目前是斯坦福大学中国经济与制度研究中心的天际线学者。王柯生于河南省南阳市，成长于喀什，他通晓中，维，日等语言，他于1982年毕业于中央民族大学，1989年留学日本。他常年研究中国及亚洲各民族议题，著有《安倍晋三传》《东突厥斯坦共和国之研究》等书作。
王柯教授将会分享：他对中日关系的见解和展望，以及最近在中日两国兴起的民族主义。新上任的日本首相高市早苗，作为日本历史上的第一位女总统是一个什么样的人？作为安倍晋三的继承人，高市早苗将与习近平思想指导下的“民族共同体”的中国社会开启怎样的中日关系新篇章？

This Sunday, Star Shiner will co-host a lecture with Wendao Reading Club in the South Bay (Alviso):
“China–Japan Relations and Sanae Takaichi.”
The speaker will be Professor Wang Ke from Kobe University, Japan 🇯🇵, who is currently a Skyline Scholar at Stanford University’s Center on China’s Economy and Institutions.
Born in Nanyang, Henan Province, and raised in Kashgar, Professor Wang is fluent in Mandarin, Uyghur, and Japanese. He graduated from the Central University of Nationalities of China in 1982 and went to study in Japan in 1989. His long-term research focuses on ethnic and national issues in China and Asia. His notable works include The Biography of Shinzo Abe and A Study of the East Turkestan Republic.
In this lecture, Professor Wang will share his insights and outlook on China–Japan relations and the recent rise of nationalism in both countries. Who is Sanae Takaichi, Japan’s newly appointed prime minister and the first woman in Japanese history to hold the position? As the political heir to Shinzo Abe, what kind of new chapter in China–Japan relations might she open under Xi Jinping’s “national community” ideology?
The talk will be in Mandarin. Following the talk, there will be an Q&A session, so please come with questions ready for Professor Wang!
